The Option You Didn't Know You Wanted is Being Tested by WhatsApp

The latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android phones has been updated with a new feature that allows users to automatically translate messages.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature - which is available on a limited basis to users of the beta version - allows automatic translation from Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi and also Russian. Note, however, that all translations are done on the device itself, which means that it is necessary to download specific packages for the language into which you want to translate the messages.

This feature has yet to be released in the final version of WhatsApp but, when it is available, users will be able to find it in the settings of each conversation - where they can already activate temporary messages and voice message transcriptions.
