Instead, Nelly rekindled his romance with Ashanti, whom he secretly married in December 2023 and welcomed a son, Kareem, with in July 2024. Jackson, who dated Nelly for seven years, expressed regret, saying, “It didn’t go as planned,” while fans on X urged her to move on, citing Nelly’s happiness with Ashanti.
