The company, called UVify, had to obtain special permission due to the show's proximity to the local airport.
A company based in San Francisco, USA, has managed to set a new world record for the number of drones used in an air show.
The record was confirmed by Guinness World Records and states that the company in question, called UVify, used 5,293 drones equipped with LEDs to create the lighting you can see above. The drones have an autonomy of 25 minutes and are capable of reproducing more than 16 million colors.
The demonstration took place in the city of Songdo, South Korea, just 16 kilometers away from Incheon International Airport, which (naturally) required those responsible to obtain special permission so as not to interfere with air traffic.
