A five-month-old baby is taking the Internet by storm after being 'caught' 'talking' to her grandparents, who are deaf.
The moment was captured on video by the child's mother and shared on the social network TikTok. In it, the couple can be seen speaking in sign language to their granddaughter, who 'responded' by waving her arms in the air, in an attempt to communicate with her grandparents.
"I have a hard time believing that my baby, who isn't even half a year old, is already starting to try to communicate with us," her mother, Mara McCullough, told Newsweek.
In the same statements, the woman said she was full of "joy" knowing that the baby will be "fluent in sign language" and will be able to "communicate with her grandparents".
In the publication, users did not hold back on their loving words. "Wait until you're two years old and can have full conversations with your parents!", said one, in the comments box. Another found it incredible "the way she waits and pays attention to the gestures" of her grandparents, "as if she were actually talking to them."
