The Mozambican President, Filipe Nyusi, appointed Geraldo Saranga to the position of ambassador of Mozambique to Switzerland, the Presidency announced in a statement.
"Geraldo Saranga holds the position of permanent representative of the Republic of Mozambique at the United Nations in Geneva", says the Presidency's note, consulted today by Lusa.
Geraldo Gonçalves Miguel Saranga, graduated in law and master's degree in Diplomatic Studies, has also served as consul general of Mozambique in Lisbon between 2015 and 2018, secretary general of the Mozambican Constitutional Council (2005 and 2011) and head of the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, in 2005.
