Omdia has shared its report for the first half of 2024, revealing which phones sold the most during this period - with Apple dominating the list.
Looking at just the top five models, Apple has three iPhones and Samsung manages to include ‘only’ two phones.
The list is headed by the top-of-the-range model launched by Apple at the end of last year, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, with 21.8 million units sold. It is followed by the iPhone 15, in second place, with 17.8 million units sold.
In third place we find the Galaxy A15, a mid-range device that managed to sell 17.3 million units. The iPhone 15 Pro is in fourth place with 16.9 million units and, to round off the list of the top five, we have the Galaxy S24 Ultra (launched earlier this year) with 12.6 million units.
