Ex-Scottish PM Had A Heart Attack While Trying To Open A Bottle Of Ketchup



The cause of death of the former Scottish Prime Minister is now known. The international press says that Alex Salmond suffered a heart attack while opening a bottle of ketchup.


The cause of death of the former Prime Minister of Scotland has been confirmed as a heart attack, after an autopsy was carried out. The international press reports that the incident occurred after his party colleague Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh asked him to help her open a bottle of ketchup. 


 

According to the director of the Academy of Cultural Diplomacy, Salmond “was helping her when he fell backwards in his chair, completely blue”.


Alex Salmond died last Saturday in North Macedonia at the age of 69. It was in the city of Ohrid that he gave his last speech at the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy Forum.


The former First Minister of Scotland led the Scottish National Party between 1990 and 2000. He returned to the leadership in 2004 and remained in office for 10 years. He was First Minister between 2007 and 2014.
