Real Madrid Fears The Worst With Alaba And Is Already Looking For A Replacement

The summer transfer market closed just over a month ago, but Real Madrid are already looking ahead to the winter window, where the possibility of acquiring a new option for the center of defense is gaining more and more strength.

This possibility has been on the table for the last few months, but it has been put on the back burner, as there was a belief that David Alaba, who suffered a cruciate ligament rupture at the end of 2023, would recover quickly, but he didn't, and the worst was feared.

According to information provided this Sunday by the 'Radioestadio Noche' program, broadcast by Spanish radio station Onda Cero, the technical team led by Carlo Ancelotti does not currently have any kind of forecast for the Austrian international's return to the pitch.

This reopens a vacancy for which several 'familiar faces' in Portuguese soccer have been mentioned over the last few months, including Gonçalo Inácio, from Sporting, and António Silva, from Benfica.
