The Brazilian international is therefore a certain absence from Carlo Ancelotti's plans for the 'headliner' match of the 11th round of La Liga, against Barcelona, which is scheduled for 8:00 pm (mainland Portugal time) next Saturday, and which will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The news comes after the forward was replaced by Aurélien Tchouaméni the day before, in the 85th minute of the 5-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund, in a Champions League match.
