Bloomberg is reporting that Apple could become the first company to be fined by the European Commission under the Digital Markets Act.
The publication says that, according to people close to the matter, Apple could be fined for having “failed to allow application developers to take users to cheaper offers outside the App Store”.
If this fine is confirmed, it is known that the amount could be up to 5% of Apple's “average daily worldwide turnover” - which exceeds one billion dollars (929 million euros).
