Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro confirmed that he is among the 37 people indicted today by the Federal Police for the crimes of violent abolition of the Democratic State of Law, coup d'état and criminal organization.
"The final report was sent to the Federal Supreme Court with the indictment of 37 people for the crimes of violent abolition of the Democratic State of Law, coup d'état and criminal organization," the Federal Police said in a statement.
The confirmation was given by Bolsonaro to the Metrópoles portal and later confirmed by himself on his social media, with veiled criticism of Judge Alexandre de Moraes, the rapporteur of the case at the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
"Minister Alexandre de Moraes leads the entire investigation, adjusts statements, arrests without charges, fishes for evidence and has a very creative advisory team. He does everything that the law does not say," denounced the former Brazilian President.
