Disney's Next CEO Could Come From the 'World' of Video Games

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Disney's current CEO, Bob Iger, could be replaced by a well-known name from the video games industry.

The front-runner seems to be Andrew Wilson, the current CEO of Electronic Arts and responsible for well-known franchises such as 'EA Sports FC' (formerly 'FIFA'), 'Dragon Age', 'Battlefield', 'The Sims', among others.

Andrew Wilson was born in Australia, is 50 years old and has been with Electronic Arts for 24 years, the last 11 of which in his current leadership position.

It's worth noting that Iger has a contract with Disney until 2026, so it will be some time before we hear any news about changes in the CEO position.
